Minor in Drama

Students who minor in Drama understand the creative, historical, and aesthetic aspects of theater and human performance. Students become critical thinkers and cultivate their creativity through improvisation and collaboration with peers. Through the production of staged dramatic performances, students gain confidence as they work as a team to achieve a clear goal. The minor gives students an edge when entering fields that require planning, effective communication, innovation, project management, and problem solving.

EMCO 210 Introduction to Story
EMCO 225 Performance
EMCO 240 Performance and Stagecraft
Six hours related work in EMCO or ARTS (with permission of program director)
