I am currently a Professor at Calumet College of St. Joseph and have been with our college for 20 years. I also serve as Program Director for the Accounting program. In addition to teaching I have held some administrative positions in the past which include Professional Studies Division Chair, Trustee on Board of Trustees, Chair of the Academic Senate, and Director of Business Management programs.

While serving on the Board of Trustees I also was a member of the Board Finance Committee. Our committee reviewed and approved the operating budget, reviewed and approved capital budget proposals, and worked with the auditors on the annual audit.

As a Division Chair I provided management and leadership for the accounting, business management, computer information services, criminal justice, law enforcement, psychology and human services departments.

I also have been facilitating courses for Indiana Wesleyan University. In addition to teaching I also serve on many committees and assist in the development of on-line courses.

I hold the MBA from Indiana University, an MA in Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University and have achieved ABD status with IWU. (This designation stands for All But Dissertation in earning a doctorate). I am a Certified Public Accountant and have been a Ser. 7 licensed financial planner in the past. Prior to teaching, my past experience includes many years in manufacturing in leadership and management positions. And, I have served as a financial planner and broker in the finance industry.

My wife spent her early years on a dairy farm and has always continued to be active in the dairy business. We have entered a partnership with a one of our daughters and her husband and have a dairy farm enterprise. We enter Ayrshires and other breeds in competitions at county fairs and at the Indiana State Fair every year. Our herd is building! My role in our business is accounting record keeping and tax taxation.

My wife and I have been active in our community through our affiliations with the United Methodist Church, Lion’s Club, Purdue County Extension Services, Steady Stiches, 4H and many other activities and organizations. We have been blessed with nine grandchildren. Each day we give thanks to the Lord for the blessings and challenges that, He has brought us. Looking forward to working with everyone!
